We spent last weekend in San Diego at the condo. Bob, Justin, myself and Tiffany (Kirk's daughter)spent a very chilly weekend in the cool breeze relaxing and watching movies. Tiffany and I went shopping on Saturday because the weather was overcast with no good beach time. As usual Sunday was gorgeous! We went to stake conference. 2 general authorities were there to call a new stake presidency. Elder Shumway (from Northern AZ) and Elder Villareal. They gave great talks. Elder Villareal talked about the how the Lord doesn't need our tithing because he has everything. We need to pay tithing to grow our faith. He also said we need to be friends to everyone, referring to the youth. He talked about how some kids are just waiting for a friend to help them get out of the bad situation they are in. They need someone to be strong so they can get out of the bad environment. Elder Shumway told a story of the cow. We made some Father's day dinner for Bob and packed up for the drive home.
