Jet skiis
Yep, you heard me right! Yesterday we tried out some jet skiis we are thinking of buying from our friends! What a blast! The lake is only 15 minutes away and we got up there about 6:00pm. The weather was a perfect 107 and the water was smooth and most of the people were gone from the lake. It was refreshing and fun. The are 3 man wave runner and you can pull a skier, wake boarder or tube behind..... I think I'll be a jet ski owner very soon!!!

Father's Day at the Condo
We spent last weekend in San Diego at the condo. Bob, Justin, myself and Tiffany (Kirk's daughter)spent a very chilly weekend in the cool breeze relaxing and watching movies. Tiffany and I went shopping on Saturday because the weather was overcast with no good beach time. As usual Sunday was gorgeous! We went to stake conference. 2 general authorities were there to call a new stake presidency. Elder Shumway (from Northern AZ) and Elder Villareal. They gave great talks. Elder Villareal talked about the how the Lord doesn't need our tithing because he has everything. We need to pay tithing to grow our faith. He also said we need to be friends to everyone, referring to the youth. He talked about how some kids are just waiting for a friend to help them get out of the bad situation they are in. They need someone to be strong so they can get out of the bad environment. Elder Shumway told a story of the cow. We made some Father's day dinner for Bob and packed up for the drive home. Justin's cleaning up for Dad in the 1st picture. The 2nd is the view out our door of the ocean.

The broken window!
I have finally found someone to fix the window on the right side of the door. As you can see the bottom panel is broken and has been for probably 4 years!! I was placing a pot of newly planted flowers in front of the window, lost my balance and put my head through the window!! I didn't get hurt, but it made a loud noise and everyone came running. Rather embarrasing...........I finally found someone to replace the etched glass....I post the beautiful finished product soon!
I have been scolded!!

Kirk's in the hospital!!
Kirk was just released from the hospital today, June 1st. He had been there since Monday night. He wasn't able to break his 102 to 104 temperature. When I got to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon to relieve Sue so she could get some rest, he was pretty much delirious. I was frighten because his condition seemed to be worsening and he was asking for a blessing. I quickly called Bob and Sue for them to get back to the hospital. After that a nurse came in (who was very good) and saw Kirk standing in the corner because he said it felt better than laying in the bed. She listened to his complaints and put him on morphine and oxygen, and a couple of other meds. By the time, Bob and Sue they looked at me like I had over exaggerated because his condition had improved that much. The problem was he didn't well and his temperature wouldn't break without the oxygen and the morphine. They finally determined he had pneumonia and valley fever. He will be out for the count for a while but we're glad he's starting recover. By the way, he lost 18 pounds in 6 days!!

Birthday dinner for Keifer and Justin
We had a delicious Sunday dinner for the celebration of Keifer and Justin's birthday. We had the favorite roast beef and gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, peas, with Sigies cucumber salad, Meredith's green salad and Lisa's hot rolls. I even got a little domestic and made homemade raspberry jam because Keifer loves Grandma Rita's and I thought I would give it a try. It came out pretty good! We had a great time as always and topped the evening off with sheet cake--1/2 with sliced almonds and the other 1/2 plain. Good time for all!
